A few days ago, SHINee came out with their new single album "Juliette (Japanese version)".
In that album, you can also find the new song "Kiss Kiss Kiss".
I've listened to it, and it is a nice tune. I'm waiting for more though. *Waving my hands in excitement*
Well, you should just listen for yourself.
And speaking of Kiss, U-KISS will come out with their new album "Neverland" tomorrow. Looking forward to that too.
So, I really need to write a small + entry about 4minute's Hyuna (Kim Hyun Ah) here. Her new solo mini album "Bubble Pop!" came out about a month ago.
It's kind of exaggerating with the need of "sex-appeal" I guess. (No, not "I guess"... it IS!) But the tunes are actually interesting.
It's the first time I heard dubstep, in a k-pop song, I think. And I don't need to say, that I like it. Cause I'm a dubstep fantast. It wasn't a lot, but it was still there. So, I'm happy.
Hyuna - Bubble Pop! (2011)
(The dubstep starts at 2.20 ~)
So, just ignore the "hey - I - want - to show - of - my ass" thing in the MV. If it's even possible. "EatYourKimchi" said some very true words of this video.
Finishing of with a calm tune ~ Hyuna - A Bitter Day (Feat. JunHyung & G.NA) (2011)
Another one of those few South Korean girls groups I like, is 4minute. 4minute is probably one of them, being in the top list - for me. They dont sound that yucky and sweet. They have the right amount of cheesy. *laugh* 4minute debuted in 2009 with the song "Hot Issue". They are a group of five members. 4minute stand for, being able to capture their fans hearts in 4 minutes.
JiHyun (Nam Ji Hyun) born in 1990, being the leader of the group and a vocalist and lead dancer. GaYoon (Heo Ga Yoon) born in 1990, and is the main vocalist. JiYoon (Jeon Ji Yoon) born in 1990, and the lead vocalist and rapper. Hyuna (Kim Hyun Ah) born in 1992, is a vocalist, main rapper and main dancer. SoHyun (Kwon So Hyun) is born in 1994 and the youngest in the group. She is the lead rapper and a vocalist.
We start of with a up-beat tune ~ 4minute - I My Me Mine (Hit your Heart mini album 2010)
I like that album a lot. My other favorites are "Huh", "Bababa" and "Highlight". One of those I've listen to, way too much! ~ 4minute - Heart to Heart (Heart to Heart mini album 2011)
(The music starts at 0.47 ~)
And another one I've listened to, to much. Korean music is addicting... 4minute - Mirror Mirror (4 minutes left album 2011)
And finishing of with a older one...
4minute - For Muzik (intro) (For Muzik mini album 2009)
Like I said before, probably. I have a hard time, with Korean girls groups - they usually sound very alike, so I can't even say who is who. And they have the ability to sound like Swedish hits. Which I don't like in the least.
But of course, I have a few I really like and kind of like. But there are really just a few - probably counted on my fingers, on one hand. Like 2NE1, which I already wrote about. And I also covered Miss A. Now I'm moving on to G.NA She is not a group, but still.
I'm a bit divided in my opinion about her though. She has pretty cheesy tunes. But still, they get stuck and affect me in some way, so...
G.NA was supposed to debut in a group, with Yubin from "Wonder Girls", UEE from "After School", Hyusung from "Secret" and Yang Jiwon which was in "T-ara" before. Because some financial problems in the company, back then (2007), they split up to different companies.
She later debuted in 2010 with "Aeini Saenggimyeon Hago Sipeun Il" with Rain. And after that, her first album came out.
G.NA (Gina Choi) is born in 1987 in Canada. She moved to Seoul when she was seventeen years old, to become a singer.
Her new album "Top Girl" came out this year, in August.
U-KISS came out with a new digital single, not long ago actually. And, uhm... it was really what I was about to write from the start. But whatever, I finally got to it.
And on the first of September, they will come out with a whole album - "Neverland".
1. "Intro"
2. "Neverland"
3. "Baby dont cry"
4. "Someday"
5. "Take me Away"
6. "On the Floor"
7. "Love of a Friend"
8. "Story of April"
9. "Obsession"
10. "Top That"
11. "Tell me Y"
12. "We'll meet again"
13. "Someday" instrumental.
I had a similar experience when I first heard U-Kiss, like with SHINee. The first song I heard was, "Man Man Han Ni" (2009) and... I got the exact same feeling from it, like SHINee's song "Ring Ding Dong" (2009). So I didn't listen to U-Kiss either.
Until... I saw the silver lining lighting up, my all so dark presence. Not quite, but almost.
I think it was "Bingeul Bingeul" which made me listen to them again. And I fell for almost the entire "Only One" album and "Break Time" mini album. In 2010, they just got better and better too.
And then the great mini album "Bran new Kiss" came out, and I fell completely, without ground.
U-KISS stands for Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star. They debuted in 2008, with "Not Young". They have been switching members a bit, but now they are seven members complete.
Soo Hyun (Shin Soo Hyun) born in 1989, being the leader and the lead vocalist of the group. He joined the group in 2009.
Kiseop (Lee Ki Seop) born in 1991, is the lead dancer and a vocalist. He also joined in 2009.
Eli (Kim Kyoung Jae) born in 1991, is the main rapper. He was in the main cast, in 2008. A.J (Kim Jae Seop) born in 1991, is a rapper, dancer and vocalist in the group. He joined in 2011. Hoon (Yeo Hoon Min) born in 1991, is a main vocalist and joined first in 2011.
Kevin (Woo Sun Hyun) born in 1991, is a main vocalist. He debuted in the main cast, 2008.
DongHo (Shin Dong Ho) born in 1994 and being the youngest of the group. He is the main dancer and a rapper. He joined from the beginning.
(Former members are Alexander and Kibum)
And the new single...
U-KISS - Someday (2011)
And I say, Wow! I really, really like it a lot! I absolutely adore the change/bridge at 2.50 ~
We have a lot to look forward too then.
U-KISS - Talk to me (remix) ("Only One" album 2010)
U-KISS - Light it up ("Break time" mini album 2010)
U-KISS - 0330 ("Bran new Kiss" mini album 2011)
0330 is the only one with a MV, but really - the entire "Bran new Kiss" album is awesome. A kind of sad MV though.
Well, I'm really looking forward to their new album... soon it will be here.
As I was saying in the entry below.. Here are the new and improved.
ZE:A, Also known as "Children of empire" debuted in 2010, with "Mazeltov".
With the group of nine members, they have a lot of catchy songs. Thats a lot of members... not like Super Junior, but still.
Jun Young (Moon Jun Young) is the leader and a vocalist. He is born in 1989. Kevin (Kim Ji Yeop) is born in 1988, raised in Australia. He is the lead vocalist and sub rapper.
Kwang Hee (Hwang Kwang Hee) are a sub vocalist and born in 1988. Si Wan (Im Woong Jae) is a vocalist and born in 1988. Tae Heon(Kim Tae Heon) is the main rapper, and born in 1989. Hee Chul (Jung Hee Cheol) is the lead rapper, born in late 1989. Min Woo (Ha Min Woo) is the main dancer and sub vocalist, born in 1990. Hyung Sik (Park Hyung Sik) is the main vocalist and born in 1991. Dong Jun (Kim Dong Jun) being the youngest, born in 1992. He is the main vocalist and lead dancer.
I don't really know why I'm rambling about age everytime, but anyhow. I think it is interesting. They came out with the new single special album - "Exiting", now in July. With focus on "Heart for 2". So...
ZE:A - Heart for 2 (2011)
It is the same teaser of the real MV, over and over again. They haven't gotten out with the whole thing yet.
ZE:A - All Day long (2010)
The R2+ version of this song (All day long) is more upbeat and... great.
ZE:A - Again.. (2011)
This is my absolute favorite, amongst others like - "Here I am", "Love coach" and "New Star".
I once wrote about Teen Top and ZE:A in the same entry. Because I compared the two. But I decided to rewrite it, cause they are worthy of their own entry. It was fun to compare them though... but, yeah.
I saw both Teen Top and ZE:A in a music show, where they were the intro. I got kind of stuck with them, and just had to find their music.
Teen Top is a favorite of mine. (Of course, I only write about my favorites).
They are kind of new overall. They debuted in 2010 with "Clap", and is a group of six members. I totally fell in love with Niels voice, the main vocal. It´s a bit different from what I heard before.
Well, of we go...
C.A.P (Bang Min Soo), born in 1992 and actually the oldest one. Being the leader and main rapper. Chunji (Lee Chan Hee) is the lead vocalist and born in 1993. L. Joe (Lee Byung Hun) is the lead rapper and born in 1993. Niel (Ahn Daniel) is, like I said, the main vocalist. He is born in 1994. Ricky (Yoo Chang Hyun) is the lead dancer, sub vocalist and born in 1995. Chanjo (Choi Jong Hyun) is born in November 1995, so he is the youngest one. He is the main dancer and sub vocalist.
Teen Top came out with their new mini album - "Roman" in August this year. With focus on "No more Perfume on you". I love the sound - but the message, not so much.
Teen Top - 향수 뿌리지마 No More Perfume on You (2011)
The debut song (Clap), was the one I saw in a music show. I thought they looked ridicules, with their wigs - but the dance was cool and the song is great.
So, I found the show I was talking about.
Teen Top vs. ZE:A
The ones with the white wigs are Teen Top, and the ones with "dead animals" around their neck, are ZE:A.
It went a little bit fail there in the beginning - cause of the stage-work.
Well, ZE:A are first out with their performance. Think about it being their debut, for both groups - so they are probably nervous
So, who's looking forward to SHINee's new Digital single? I am!
To be truthful here. The first song I heard from Shinee, was "Ring Ding Dong". And I can tell you, I hated it. I thought it sounded like the freaking frog song... you know, that annoying frog with a pilot-hat? You could hear that song wherever you went, when it was popular... So, yeah. "Ring Ding Dong" didn't really fit my kind of taste. And I decided that I wouldn't listen to Shinee again. Big mistake, right? Yeah... I got it.
You should never judge a group from ONE song. Especially not a K-pop band - since they sound pretty different from song to song.
When the album "Lucifer" came, I pretty much wrapped my stupid thoughts in a bag and threw it far....far... away. So I started listening to them and fell ....
But the funny thing is, I like "Ring Ding Dong" now... And SHINee is one of my favorite K-pop bands.
SHINee is a South Korean band, which debuted in 2008 with "Replay". They debuted in Japan, now in 2011. And they consists of five members; Onew (Lee JinKi), born in 1989 and the leader of the group. He is also main vocalist.
JongHyun (Kim JongHyun) is the leadvocalist and born in 1990. Key (Kim KiBum) is the main dancer and rapper. Also being vocalist, and born in 1991. Minho (Choi MinHo) is a vocalist and the main rapper, born in 1991.
Taemin (Lee TaeMin) is a vocalist and lead dancer, born in 1993.
I am really amazed by Taemin's dance moves - to tell the truth - I LOVE his dance. Just to be clear here.
Two of my favorite songs from Shinee;
(counting out "Lucifer", cause everyone already knows that one being great)
SHINee - JoJo (Kind of calm) (2009)
They have very few real MV's actually. It's a shame. Who wouldn't want to see more dance-moves.
SHINee - Up & Down (A bit up-beat) (2010)
Someone actually cut this pretty well, with the dance-moves from other MV's. It really looks like they sing along sometimes. I'm impressed.
I said TWO of my favorites, right? ... damn! I can't, I'm sorry.
SHINee - Wowowow (Cheesy but great) (2010)
I'm getting a little bit sad about the none-existent MV's here.
Also, "Ready or Not", "A-Yo" and "Obsession" is a few more of my favorites. It is mostly from the "Lucifer" album... But I guess it is because that album is awesome. And it will be hard for them to outperform that - but I hope they do.
And then we finish of, with their debut song
SHINee - Replay (Noona Neomu Yeppeo) (2008)
And seriously - Look at that dance-genius Taemin, in this MV.
This really shows my point - their tunes sounds pretty different from track to track.
So, now I'm going to be super exited until their new single comes out! Yeay!
So, it's like this. I've been to a convention, yet again. With cosplaying, anime, manga, games - you name it.
And both this conventions I've been to this year, had the song "LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem" as a kind of theme song... probably. Well, they played it a lot.
Anyway... I connect it to conventions, as soon as I hear it. When I hear it, I just want to go back to all those amazing people - who likes the same nerdy stuff as me. It brings out good memories.
I just stumbled over this a few days ago... My favorite two boys in my most nostalgic song - made a pretty awesome remix.
Big Band vs LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem goes High High
It would be priceless if G.D and T.O.P started shuffling too.
But seriously, the transmission between the two songs is freaking great! They cut it in perfection, so it really fits. "Klockrent" as I would say in Swedish.
